PU 5 – year LLB 2018 Exam Notification – Panjab University, Chandigarh conducts PU LLB entrance exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in five year LLB programme offered by it.

Eligibility Criteria of PU 5 – year LLB 2018

• Any candidate who has already passed or appearing in March 2018 in the 10+2 Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance Test.
• The candidature of a candidate who is appearing in 10+2 examination in March 2018, shall stand cancelled if s/he fails to pass or gets reappear or fails to secure the prescribed percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. Such candidate will not have any claim, whatsoever with regard to her/his admission to the above-said course/s.
• A candidate who has passed/appeared in 10+2 Examination of Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad is ineligible to appear in the Entrance Test, as this institution has been derecognised by Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Application Fee: The Fee for Entrance Test is Rs. 2100/- (Rs. 1050/- for SC/ST/PwD). The fee for the Entrance Test once paid shall not be refunded.

Selection Procedure:

• All registered and eligible candidates will be called for All India Admission Test (AIAT).
• Final selection shall be based on the combined merit list of AIAT consisting of Writing Sample & Personal Interaction.

PU Admission Test (for Five Year LL.B.):

• The Entrance Test shall be based on “Legal and General Awareness‟ as per the details given below:

• Out of these 100 questions, 60 questions will be based on Testing General Knowledge and Current Affairs, 20 Aptitude for Law, 10 Testing Mental Ability and rest of the 10 questions testing English Language. The Question Paper will be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion “proficiency in English Language”).
