8 Month Study Plan for CLAT 2024

There are 5 sections in the syllabus of CLAT 2024:

1. GK & Current Affairs
2. Legal Aptitude
3. Verbal Aptitude
4. Logical Reasoning
5. Quantitative Aptitude

Month 1: Start your preparation

• The Hindu/Indian Express newspaper(Continue till the date of exam)
• GK(Art and Literature, Economics)
• Legal Aptitude(Constitutional Law)
• Current Affairs(Starting from January 2023)

Month 2: Continue GK and Legal Aptitude

• GK (Environment, Geography, History)
• Legal Aptitude(Contract Act, Criminal Law)

Month 3: Complete GK and Legal Aptitude

• GK( Science, UN and International Organizations)
• Legal Aptitude(Law of Tort, Legal Maxims)

Month 4: Start Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

• Math (Basic Math, Age Problems, Averages)
• English (Reading Comprehension, Basic Grammar, Direct and Indirect Speech, Cloze Test)
• Reasoning (Blood Relations, Analogies, Direction Problems, Logical Puzzles, Facts, Inference and Judgment)

Month 5: Continue Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

• Math (Ratio and Proportions; Speed and Distance and Time; Simple and Compound Interests)
• English (Idioms and Phrases, Jumbled Paragraphs, One word substitution, Sentence Improvements))
• Reasoning (Syllogism; Clocks and Calendar; Logical Deduction; Coding and Decoding

Month 6: Complete Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

• Math (Fraction and Percentage, Profit and Loss, Time and Work)
• English (Active and Passive Voice, Fill in the Blanks Sentence fillers, Error Spotting
• Reasoning (Assertion and Reasoning; Cause and Effect; Strengthening and Weakening Arguments; Statement, Assumptions and Conclusions)

Month 7: Start Revision and Solve Past Papers

• Solve all Past Papers.
• Revise GK and Verbal.
• Memorize Math Formulae.

Month 8: Practice Mock Tests

• Attempt 1 Mock Test every day.
• Analyze your performance in the test.
• Focus on improving score in each test.
• Revise all concepts.
• Continue this for the last 1 month.
