HP-NLET Overview
Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla conducts HP National Law Entrance Test (HP-NLET) in order to shortlist aspirants for admission in programmes such as – BA/BBA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD in law. HP-NLET is also known as Himachal Pradesh National Law University Entrance Test or HP-NET.

Mode of Exam: Offline
Eligibility for HP-NLET
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates who have completed 10+2 through Open School/Universities system directly without having any basic qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates should be below 20 years of age for unreserved categories and 22 years of age for SC/ST categories.
Exam Pattern of HP-NLET
In HPNET exam for BA/BBA LLB (Hons) course, aspirants are evaluated out of 150 marks. Also, for each correct answer in this law entrance exam, aspirants are awarded one mark.
