BVP CET BA LLB Exam Overview

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU) will be conducting a Common Entrance Test for admissions to undergraduate law programmes in affiliated college of the University. The entrance test, commonly termed BVP CET Law.

Eligibility for BVP CET BA LLB Exam

Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission – As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10 + 2 examination in any of the faculties of any recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained more than 45% of the total marks in case of general category and more than 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicants.

Test Paper Pattern of BVP CET BA LLB Exam

• LL.B. Entrance Test – 2017 will be of 100 marks.
• The question paper will consist of 100 multiple choice questions. v There is no negative marking.
• There will be 25 questions on each of the following sections in the paper –
  a) English Grammar, Usage & Comprehension b) Legal aptitude, Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning c) Current Legal News & General Knowledge d) Social Sciences with an emphasis on Indian Constitution & Political System in India.
