🎯 Eligibility Criteria
- 🌍 Nationality/Domicile: Permanent resident of J&K or UT Ladakh (ST-1 category).
- 📚 Education: LLB from a recognized university, or Barrister (England/Northern Ireland), or Member of Faculty of Advocates (Scotland).
- 🎂 Age Limit: 18–35 years (relaxation as per government norms).
- ✅ Character & Fitness: Good moral character and physical fitness as per JKPSC standards.

🧑⚖️ JKPSC Judicial Services – FAQs
The preliminary exam is scheduled for 21st September 2025. Admit cards will be available from 16th September 2025.
Candidates must be permanent residents of J&K or UT Ladakh (ST-1 category). They should hold a law degree (LLB) from a recognized university or equivalent qualifications. Age should be between 18-35 years.
As of now, the official syllabus for 2025 has not been released. Candidates can refer to previous exam syllabi for preparation.
Main exam includes 6 compulsory papers (General Knowledge, English, Law, Civil & Criminal Law, Language paper) and 2 optional papers chosen from topics like Equity, Torts, Jurisprudence, Hindu Law, Mohammedan Law, etc.
₹1,200 for General category, ₹700 for reserved category, and no fee for Persons with Disabilities (PHC).
