Overall Exam Pattern

  • Total Questions: 100 (Objective Type)
  • Negative Marking: No
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Subjects Covered:
    • Bare Acts (IPC, CPC, CrPC, Evidence Act, etc.)
    • Constitution of India
    • Current Affairs & General Knowledge
    • English & Hindi Language
    • Local Rajasthan Laws

Subject-Wise Analysis

Subject No. of Questions Difficulty Level
CPC (Civil Procedure Code) 13–15 Moderate to Difficult
IPC (Indian Penal Code) 8–10 Moderate
CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code) 7–8 Moderate
Evidence Act 8–9 Moderate to High
Constitution 3 Easy
Contract Law 4–5 Moderate
GK + Current Affairs 10–12 Easy to Moderate
Hindi & English 10–12 Easy to Moderate
Rajasthan Local Laws 4–5 Moderate

Key Takeaways & Trends

1. Heavy focus on Procedural Laws

CPC, CrPC, and Evidence Act together comprised nearly 30% of the paper. Students not well-versed with procedural intricacies found it tough.

2. Only 3 Questions from Constitution!

This was a surprise. Usually, 8–10 Qs are expected. We expect a stronger Constitution focus in RJS 2026.

3. Current Affairs were factual, not analytical

2024–25 events were asked directly, with an emphasis on awards, international summits, and government schemes.

4. Local Laws remained relevant

Rajasthan Rent Control Act, Tenancy Act, and Panchayati Raj Act featured prominently again.

Expected RJS 2025 Cut-off

Category Expected Cut-off (Out of 100)
General 72–75
OBC 68–72
SC/ST 63–67

Note: These are estimated figures based on paper difficulty and trends. Final cut-offs will be announced by RPSC.
