2. Discuss the various classes of Criminal Courts and explain their constitutional powers and the maximum sentences which they can award.

3. When can a police officer arrest a person without warrant? Explain the provisions regarding examination of arrested person by medical officer under the Code of Criminal procedure (Amendment) Act,2008.

4. Explain the term “The Right of Appeal” as a creation of statute. Does an appeal lie against the order of an acquittal? What is the differences between ‘Appeal1 and ‘Revision’?

5. State the grounds on which an application may be made to the High Court for transfer of a criminal case from a subordinate Court. When can a Sessions judge transfer the cases and appeals?
